Byerly. Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide of a photo by Martin Zak that was taken in Columbia, Pennsylvania, in 1960. Photo Caption: "Pennsylvania No. 7, Class FF-2, Columbia, Pa., 1960." PRR engine #7 is an FF-2 (1-C-C-1) electric built by the American Locomotive Company for the Great Northern Railroad as number "5017" in March of 1930, acquired by the PRR and renumbered "7" in August of 1956, and retired in April of 1965 after 35 years of dual-road service. This photo comes from a color slide set entitled "Electric Railroading ~ Penn Central and Pennsylvania Lines" that's produced and distributed by Blackhawk Films of Davenport, Iowa (868-16).

"Railroad" Magazine, March 1969
Description:
Here is a photo taken by Mr. Jack Emerick. It was published originally in the March 1969 issue of "Railroad" magazine, page 22. Photo Caption: "Pennsylvania's class FF-2 electric freight locos, bought from Great Northern, were in service less than a decade. No. 7 at Thorndale, Pa., February 6, 1960." PRR engine #7 is an FF-2 (1-C-C-1) built by the American Locomotive Company for the Great Northern Railroad as number "5017" in March of 1930, acquired by the PRR and renumbered "7" in August of 1956, and retired in April of 1965 after 35 years of dual-road service. Note that both pantographs are raised.
