Description:
The MRL in Montana leased back units to the BNSF during the fall grain rush. The SD9s were once high nosed SD9s, and were chopped. SD9s were super reliable units, pulling passengers, freight, iron ore and worked the mountain!grades. They coupled with steam engines at the end of steam in the 1950s and continue to serve us today.
